There are two ways to place masking tape on a court when doing 2" wide lines. By hand, laying tape one side of the line at a time, or by using a line taping machine which holds two rolls of masking tape and lays two tapes at a time spaced 2" apart. A line taping machine will cut the line layout time and placement of masking tape by 6o% to 70%. We believe the $75.00 weekly rental fee plus UPS shipping charges to and from your site is the best investment of the whole "Do-It-Yourself" resurfacing package.

A one-color doubles court will require a minimum of six rolls of masking tape. We recommend you purchase eight rolls to allow for lines that may be placed in error. Add 2 rolls for a two color application.
