The "Hoop Cable Air Bag" is one step above the cableless air bag, due to some additional stability against high winds, but as discussed in the above structural integrity comparisons, there is very little improvement in the ability to cope with snow loads and high winds. Unfortunately, manufacturers that supply only the cableless and hoop cable air bags do not discuss the greatly improved structural integrity of the "Steel Bias Harness Net Air Structures" because they do not own the patents for this technology. The "Air Bag" and "Cable Air Bag" are touted as meeting minimum air structure standards. The minimum standards usually referred to is the minimum standards established for tents, not permanent buildings. The "Steel Bias Harness Net Air Structures" is the only air structure that is able to meet local building codes for permanent buildings.
